Quick and Easy Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl
This rice bowl features marinated chicken cooked in a sweet and tangy teriyaki sauce, served over a bed of steamed rice and topped with fresh vegetables. The recipe takes about 30 minutes from start to finish and serves 4 people.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with teriyaki sauce. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
