Easy Sweet Soy Glazed Carrots
These carrots are cooked until tender and then coated in a sweet and savory glaze. The recipe takes about 20 minutes to prepare and serves 4 people.
Ingredients
- 1 pound baby carrots or sliced regular carrots
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Carrots: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the carrots for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
