Easy Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl Recipe
This poke bowl features marinated tuna served over a bed of rice, topped with avocado, cucumber, and spicy mayo. The recipe takes about 30 minutes to prepare and serves 2 people.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces sushi-grade tuna, diced
- 2 cups cooked sushi rice
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Pickled ginger and seaweed salad for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Rice: Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.
- Marinate the Tuna: In a bowl, combine diced tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Make Spicy Mayo: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and sriracha until well combined.
- Assemble the Bowl: In serving bowls, place a scoop of sushi rice as the base. Top with marinated tuna, avocado slices, cucumber, and green onions.
- Drizzle with Spicy Mayo: Add a drizzle of spicy mayo over the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Garnish: Serve with pickled ginger and seaweed salad on the side, if desired.
