- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: In a large pot, bring the water, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon halves to a boil.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and immediately transfer the shrimp to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
