Delicious Chicken Ramen Recipe
This ramen features a rich chicken broth infused with garlic and ginger, served over noodles and topped with a soft-boiled egg. The recipe takes about 30 minutes from start to finish and serves 2 people.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 packs of ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
- 2 soft-boiled eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece of ginger, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon miso paste (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Nori sheets for garnish (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Broth: In the same pot, add garlic, ginger, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add Chicken: Return the chicken to the pot, add soy sauce and miso paste if using. Simmer for another 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Cook the Noodles: In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Soft-Boiled Eggs: In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Gently add eggs and boil for 6-7 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath, then peel.
- Assemble the Ramen: Divide the cooked noodles into bowls, ladle the broth over the noodles, and top with sliced chicken, halved soft-boiled eggs, and garnishes like green onions, nori, and sesame seeds.
