Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup napa cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 block firm tofu, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  6. Simmer: Cover the pan and let everything simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
