Delicious Beef Niku Udon Recipe

This Beef Niku Udon features thick udon noodles served in a rich broth made from dashi, soy sauce, and mirin, topped with thinly sliced beef and green onions. The recipe takes about 30 minutes from start to finish and serves 4 people.

Ingredients

  • 400g udon noodles
  • 200g thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 4 cups dashi broth (or water with dashi powder)
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon sake (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Udon: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
