Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Broccoli: While the beef is marinating, blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
  4. Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

  6. Combine: Return the cooked beef to the skillet, toss everything together, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
  7. Serve: Serve the beef and broccoli stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
