Quick Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry Recipe
This stir-fry features marinated beef cooked quickly over high heat with broccoli florets, all tossed in a delicious sauce made from soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. The dish takes about 25 minutes to prepare and serves 4 people.
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare the Broccoli: While the beef is marinating, blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
- Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds. Then add the blanched broccoli and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
