This almond flour banana bread is a tasty way to kickstart your day with a protein boost. It’s moist, flavorful, and super easy to make. Enjoy a slice for breakfast or as a snack anytime!
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, honey, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add the almond flour, protein powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined. If using, fold in the nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool before slicing.
