Easy Creamy Tomato Basil Soup Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped (or 2 cans of diced tomatoes)
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
