Whenever I recommend a product, I always like to start with what I use.
But I also like to give people a range of prices too. But with ANYTHING I recommend from Amazon, I always use the following criteria:
- It has to be a minimum of 4 stars
- The product has to have at least 100 reviews (or be something I own)
- No more than 5% of all the reviews are bad ones
I find that only recommending products that meet the test of that means that you get great products every time. Whenever possible, I also like to recommend Prime products or at least products with free shipping.

I did not set out to only recommend KitchenAid products here, but in looking at the top sellers on Amazon, knowing that we only use KitchenAid mixers in my house, and reading and comparing reviews, in my opinion, KitchenAid is the clear winner in all categories.

So what’s the difference between the KitchenAid Classic and KitchenAid Artisan?
The primary difference is with the Artisan series, you get the larger bowl with a handle and multiple color options.
While I love the color choices and slightly larger bowl, for me personally, I’d go with the cheaper Classic KitchenAid. After all, the price difference between the 2 is over $100.
But if you do a ton of baking, or have a larger family and need that bigger bowl, the Artisan series might be the way to go.
